SLSU eyes 10 high schools for iSchools program

The Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) is checking new sites where public high school students can finally get wired to the Internet through the iSchool program of the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT).

Notwithstanding dirt roads, Engineer Milo O. Placino, vice president for Production, Research, Extension and MIS of SLSU, inspected ten candidate schools for the program on June 6 and 7. These are:
· Dambo National High School
· Wawa National High School
· Calumpang National High School
· Bukal National High School in Cavinti
· Balian National High School
· Sta. Maria National High School
· Sta. Maria National High School (annex)
· Nicholas Galvez High School
· Dayap National High School
· San Juan National High School

Mr. Eric Zaide, Dep. Ed Supervisor on ICT in Laguna who accompanied Engr. Placino during his visits, suggested replacements for two of the candidate schools since they are already beneficiaries of other ICT programs.
